The Gao Ji Dian was founded by the Grandson of the Kublai Khan in the Year 1306 AD. The Imperial College was the only Institution of such a kind in the the Entire Empire. It was in effect the Highest School or University in China.
Most recently multi-milion dollar repairs on both the Confucius Temple and the Imeprial College were carried out, restoring to them to their original glory.
